Snow again

I hosted a baby shower this morning while Dad watched the boys. I picked them up at 2:30 and the weather was starting to get bad. As soon as we got home, the boys quickly got on their coats and headed outside. They played about 20 minutes and were done. I don't have waterproof gloves for them but will definitely buy some for next year!

The boys made little snow babies. I had pacifiers left from the shower and the kids thought they were funny.

Here's Austin with silly hair. Kaleb keeps saying "he's such a ham".

Big and Little

Austins lesson at school today was big and little. When I picked him this afternoon his teachers were cracking up! They asked the class if they could name or find anything big and little. They came up with blocks, cars, dolls, and rabbits. Austin's answer(which he yelled above everyone else) was that Kaleb is big and when he turns 5 he gets lots of shots and has to T T in a cup. He advised them that he was little and didn't have to get shots or T T in a cup until he turned 5 and that he liked being little.
As you can tell, I'm trying to prepare Kaleb for his 5 year old checkup. Kids really do say the craziest things!

Bad to crap, seriously!

Everything was going okay until around 10:30. I knew that some of our friends were going to borrow our truck today, but I didn't get details and honestly, didn't think about it. We headed to the dry cleaners then the gym as always. We have to be at the gym by 9:30 because they have music time and the instructors love the boys being there. They take over and do the entire thing so the employees just watch Kaleb and Austin instruct. I think it has to do with their fascination with the Wiggles when they were younger. We used to sing and dance ALL day. While they were in the class, I went and worked out as usual for an hour. I returned to the locker room(where my phone was) and realized I had several missed calls. Our friends came over to get the truck and I wasn't there to give them the keys. I felt terrible!

After I got off the phone, I got the kids ready for swim lessons. Austin goes first and can't stand them! He's too young to be in the class and has no clue what's going on. He's in a class with 5 year old's and just turned 3. He doesn't have the ability to do the things that they're trying to teach him and doesn't want to try(I can't blame him). I didn't want him to quit the class but it was a total waste of time. He stuck it out and had his last class today. He yelled at the instructor the entire time telling her he didn't want to do it. He doesn't stop until he's acknowledged and it was driving her crazy. She has 5 other kids in the class and Austin wouldn't stop saying Mrs. Leah over, and over, and over again! I was getting frustrated and just told him he was done with class and could get in the hot tub. I was so tired of hearing him.

Next up, Kaleb. It was terrible. He didn't do anything his teacher asked him to do. He floated around, held onto the lane dividers, and swam underwater doing his own little thing. He didn't do anything his coach told him to do and he was making me crazy. I can't stand when people quit. I was never a quitter, but the boys, oh my gosh! I could strangle them sometimes.

After swim lessons we headed home for lunch. Kaleb pitched a fit for a PB&J sandwich and of course, I didn't have bread. I needed some for lunches tomorrow so we headed to Kroger. I didn't have my purse because I carry a swim bag to the gym. I ended up carrying my wallet which was an awful mistake. We got our groceries fine then headed home. We ate lunch then the boys headed up stairs to play Hot wheels.

I looked everywhere for the keys to Brian's truck. I couldn't find them anywhere and had friends coming over shortly to borrow it. Brian was in a meeting at his corporate office and I couldn't get in touch with him so I was doomed. I ended up setting the hitch for the trailer outside because I didn't know what else to do. Seriously, nothing is going right!

We watched Meet the Robinson's at rest time then played Hot wheels again. It was time for us to pick-up Brian's dry cleaning so I tried to load the kids into the truck. I got my purse and started looking for my wallet. I remembered having it at Kroger, but couldn't remember if I brought it inside when I got home, left it in the truck, or in the buggy at Kroger. I was freaking out! I searched my truck and the house for at least 30 minutes. Kaleb fell and skinned his knee during my crazy frantic period in which he preceded to cry an HOUR! Seriously, I'm not kidding. Also, I had the back of my truck open and one of the kids decided to open the garage. Yes, I thought I was going to die. Kaleb was crying, the lift gate on my truck was about to rip off, you could smell the motor on my garage burning up, and I couldn't find my wallet. Yes, good times. All I could do was cry. Losing your wallet has got to be one of the worst what do I do now feelings, ever. It takes forever to get a new license, credit cards, the whole nine yards.
I decided to look one more time in my truck with a flashlight. Heck, they do it on CSI so I thought I would try. I checked the driver, passenger, Kaleb's, then Austins side looking everywhere. I walked away then came back to Austins and there it was. Lodged between his cup holder and the seat. AHHHH, pure relief!

Kaleb was still crying but I finally got him in the truck. Austin had mentioned earlier that he needed to go number 2 but I got so wrapped up in finding my wallet that I forgot.
5 miles down the rode, can anyone guess? Yes, Austin pooped his pants, Kaleb was still crying because of the small scrape on his leg that had no blood, and 7 minutes ago I thought I had lost everything because my wallet was missing. Life's funny sometimes. Needless to say we also made a quick trip to the liqueur store because frankly, I really wanted a glass of wine and it's a big parking lot so I could shake the poop out of Austin's pants. Life as a mother is great! We stopped and got a pizza because we missed supper time while I was looking for my wallet. We raced home, ate, jammies, then bed. Now I'm headed there............Goodnight. Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it:)

Ninja time

Today, Kaleb attended a little boy named Garrett’s “Ninja” birthday party. He’s in his class at school and is such a sweet kid. I wasn’t going to let Kaleb go because once he starts hitting, he doesn’t stop. I was scared he would beat the crap out of the other kids because he’s HUGE compared to everyone else. Brian talked me into it because he gave me the “it’s every boys dream to be Ninja for the day” speech and I was suckered right in. Once there, they beat-up a dummy.
Practiced being Ninjas
Became Ninjas
Beat the crap out of each other.
Had pizza and cake.

During pizza, Kaleb had his right arm around the little girl beside him and ate pizza with his left hand. I was talking to some of my friends and didn't even notice what was going on! After a couple of minutes(a really long story about someones child) I looked up to check on Kaleb and there he was loving on his girlfriend. I headed straight over to him and 4 Dad's (including hers)were standing right behind them laughing. I was like oh my gosh!!!! I put an end to that very quickly. Luckily they weren't kissing. Another little boy kept kissing one of the girls. I'm like WTH? Their only 4. I dread the teenage years.................

Happy Valentines Day!

So, our last day in Disney was Valentines Day. Brian and I don't celebrate Valentines day because it's my sister's birthday, and it's a holiday just for money. I truly feel that if people really love each other, they will show it everyday. I don't need someone to tell me that I have to celebrate my husband on a certain day. I should celebrate him everyday and love him with all my heart, always. My life is amazing! I don't take anything I have for granted.

Hollywood Studios had extra "Magic hours" for people who stayed at their resorts. The "fast passes" run out for the Toy Story ride that we wanted to ride within an hour and a half after opening. We had to get there early! We got there at 8:20 and Brian and Austin made a sprint to the fast pass line. Kaleb and I went to the bathroom and then to get the stroller. After we got the stroller, we headed over to the Toy Story ride. Austin and Brian were waiting for us so we went ahead and got in line so we could ride it twice(once by standing in line and once by the fast pass). The ride is 3-D so we had already gotten our glasses and were ready to get on. While we were walking up the stairs to get on the ride, Austin peed his pants while Brian was holding him! Holy CRAP! Brian and Austin thought they were going to die..........
Brian put Austin down due to the wetness and then we hear an announcement. Sorry, this ride is closed due to technical difficulties(we just stood in line 55 minutes for nothing) please exit the same way you came in. Since we were fixing to get on the ride, we went out the fast pass exit(with Austin hysterically crying because the ride was broken) because the walk was a lot shorter. Luckily that way, we got another Fast Pass as soon as the ride opened. Yeah, we had two fast passes and a potty break! Austin still really needed to go, again!
After we went to the restroom we went to the Playhouse Disney show which featured Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, and Handy Mandy. The boys loved the show but it was carpet only seating and my legs are a little too long for that. Seriously, how long do people think that adults can sit criss cross apple sauce?
After the show, we headed back to the Toy Story ride to see if it was fixed. We waited in line for 20 minutes then hopped on it. It was by far the best ride we rode all week. I'm glad we went to so much trouble for it. I seriously could ride it all day and not get bored. After the ride, we ate lunch, then went back for our second fast pass for it. It was AWESOME!
Then we headed back to the hotel to catch our bus to the airport. Yes, we had to come back to reality......YUCK:(

Several fights and a parade

Disney World is suppose to be the most magical place on earth. Has anyone ever been there during a parade? I seriously could have killed some people!!! We got there at 6:00 because we wanted to get a good seat. The parade didn't start until 7:00 so we had free reign. We rented a double stroller so I sat my bag down, used the double stroller, then stood up to hold enough space for myself. Brian video taped the boys playing games, while I stood there.

We basically had about 20 minutes before the parade started. I told Brian to take the boys to the restroom and come back and sit. While they were gone, people were trying to move my bag so they could get our spot(which was really pissing me off). I stayed by myself holding down the space and was not putting up with any one's crap. This man(with a mullet) came up with a lady in a wheelchair screaming at me because she was in a wheelchair and deserved to sit in the front. I let him know that he should have been there at 6:00 like I was and that I didn't feel sorry for them. They could go into the handicap area if needed but they weren't getting my spot. He got all pissed off and yelled at me about the wheelchair. The lady wasn't paraplegic, and didn't even need a wheelchair. She ended up sitting behind us and getting up and letting the rest of her family sit in the chair while she stood there. Seriously, people get so ridiculous. Little kids should get the front row, not fake old people. After I fought with several other people, Brian and the kids showed up.

We had a BLAST! Cinderella blew Kaleb a kiss and Austin got a high five from Mr. Snead(Caption Hooks right hand man). Brian and I really don't think that Cinderella blew Kaleb a kiss but were still picking on him for it. He gets so embarrassed because he doesn't like girls.

Hello Hollywood..........

We hated Hollywood Studio's. All we did was wait, then wait some more. With two kids, that's the last thing we wanted to do. We got there about 10:30 then headed over to the Toy Story ride. They were out of Fast Passes and the line was about 100 minutes. Seriously, who would wait in that?
We ended up meeting some people who advised us about a Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. We spent a long time there then headed to a nice Italian lunch which we had reservations for.

On our way there, we met Lightning McQueen and Mator.

Then we saw the Power Rangers.

Nothing else happened. It was not our favorite place so we went back to our room so Austin could take a nap.

Early Hours

By staying at a Disney Resort, you get "magic hours". This is when people who do not stay at a Disney resort have to stand outside while we get all the Fast Passes:) I had my game face on today and had every step we took planned! I even had plan A, B, and C! Yes, I was that into it. Ironically, we used plan C because it had a lot of what ifs which all came true. First, we rode Dumbo(it was actually fun) because the line is always extremely long. Then Brian headed to Thunder Mountain for two "fast passes". The kids and I stayed back and took pictures with Dewey. Then we headed over to the "Jungle Cruise". All three kids got to drive their own boats then off to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It was pretty scary but Brian and I kept playing it off as silly. Next, we went to Thunder Mountain. Austin isn't tall enough to ride this one so we opted for a rider swap. Brian and Kaleb got to ride, then Kaleb and I rode. While Brian and Kaleb were riding, Austin played on the playground. We decided to go up and watch Brian and Kaleb in the viewing area but somehow missed them. We watched about 20 minutes until I realized that something was wrong. I didn't have my cell phone and started to worry. Austin and I decided to head back to the playground to look for Brian and Kaleb and luckily they decided to head up to the viewing area at the same time. We wasted about 20 minutes but at least we found each other! I got Kaleb then rode Thunder Mountain with him. I love roller coasters!
Austin was feeling left out so we decided to go get fast passes for Space Mountain and the Buzz Light year ride. Austin and I rode Buzz then got another Fast Pass for Buzz while Kaleb and Brian waited for their fast pass for Space Mountain. Upon exiting the ride we saw.........BUZZ LIGHT YEAR!!
We ate lunch then Brian and Kaleb headed over to Space Mountain. Austin and I played games in the arcade. After that, we headed back to the hotel so the boys could get a nap. You don't think they needed one do you? The kids woke up at 6:30 and were ready to go! We headed out to Epcot and rode some more rides. We kept the boys up until 10:30. That is the latest they've stayed up since I took them to Florida in August! Kaleb kept asking if it was time to go to bed and Austin wouldn't shut up! We watched the Illuminations(fireworks and laser light show) and everyone around us, including Brian and I laughed so hard at Austin, I thought I was going to pee my pants. He is SOOOOO funny! He seriously had everyone laughing out loud at his comments. I kept laughing and apologizing to people because he has no whisper voice. Hysterical!!!!! At one point when the "earth" opened he screamed at the top of his lungs "it's broken and is on fire". Actually, the earth opened up with the Olympic torch in the middle singing a song of unity. I was seriously crying I was laughing so hard:)
