Look who can tie a shoe!

I couldn't think of anything better to do on President's day than teach Kaleb how to tie his shoes. It only took him about 3 tries! They both got books from Santa but weren't really interested in it. Kaleb started looking at his before he went to bed at night so I thought we would give it a try. I'm so proud of him. We told him to keep practicing and we would take him shopping for a brand new pair of lace-up shoes.

First mini golf game

One of our friends gave the boys some golf clubs a couple of years ago and they finally found them. We had them hidden so they wouldn't pretend they were baseball bats or tear up our grass trying to hit the ball. They were so excited that Brian and I got suckered into taking them to play golf. We did mini golf first then bought a small basket of balls at the driving range. Kaleb lasted a little longer on the driving range than Austin. You had to walk past a playground so that's all the kids wanted to do. Mini golf was fun and held there attention the entire time. Only problem was as soon as they were done with a hole they would move to the next. The adults couldn't play fast enough to keep up.
